Continuing our tradition, this spring, CoAg
will award three $1,000 scholarships to eligible candidates.
The candidate(s) shall:

Be a graduating senior in high school
·
Be an immediate family member of a CoAg member or
employee. Immediate family is defined as Son, Daughter,
Brother, Sister, Father, Mother or under the charge of a Legal
Guardian.
·
Provide proof of acceptance or enrollment in an
institution of higher learning (beyond high school).
·
Preferably intend on pursuing a career in
agriculture or a related or support industry. This is not
mandatory. Several winners have pursued educations outside of
agriculture. However, preference will be given to those seeking
an agriculturally related education.
·
Provide the selection committee (the policy
committee & manager) with a one-page essay entitled "The Future
of U.S. Agriculture and My Role in It."
The award shall:

Be three (3) $1,000 scholarships. One award per
candidate and candidate family.
·
Be drawn from a list of eligible candidates by May
7th of the year 2010. Two alternates will be
selected but they will not be notified unless a winner cannot or
will not accept the award.
·
Presented directly to the institution of higher
learning for the benefit of the successful candidate.

stationary indicating that you will be graduating this academic
year of 2010.

of higher learning on official letterhead from that institute.

Agriculture and My Role in It"
·
The name, address and telephone number of your
family member who is the sponsoring CoAg member or employee.
